Wright County Jail Mugshots

The Jail Census is the complete public list for adults currently in custody, while the Jail Media Report is the list of adults recently booked into Wright County Jail.
Both the Jail Census and Jail Media Report include a "Photo" column in the report layout. The Weekly Booking Data gives broader public booking details, including date of birth, address, booking date, arrest date, original charges, and charge level, but it is still a jail record rather than a court conviction record.

Find Wright County Booking Photos
Wright County booking photos should be checked through official county channels first. The reports are PDFs rather than a live name-search database, so use the browser or PDF find function by last name. The county says the Jail Media Report, Jail Census, Weekly Booking Data, and Court Calendar are updated and published daily Monday through Friday except holidays. A weekend or holiday arrest may not appear in a public PDF until the next publication cycle.

- Open Jail Media Report for a recent adult booking and check the row with the matching name, age, sex, city, and charges.
- Use PDF find by last name because the county reports are not interactive search screens.

Are Wright County Mugshots Public
Minnesota law is direct on booking photographs. Minnesota Statutes section 13.82, subdivision 26 defines a booking photograph as a photograph or electronically produced image taken by law enforcement for identification purposes in connection with an arrest. Except as otherwise provided, that booking photograph is public data. A law enforcement agency may temporarily withhold access if release would adversely affect an active investigation.

Other privacy rules still matter. Minnesota Statutes section 13.85 protects private corrections and detention data, including medical, psychological, financial, and safety-sensitive information. That is why an adult booking photo may be public while other jail, juvenile, health, or safety details remain outside public view.
Public and Not Public
Wright County's public PDFs do not show every detail collected at booking. Public report fields can include the photo column, name, inmate number, age, sex, release date if listed, held-for agency, city on recent-booking records, and charges. Weekly Booking Data can show DOB, address, booking date, arrest date, original charges, and level. Those fields are public jail data, but they are not a full investigative file and do not prove a conviction.
What is and isn't public: Adult booking photos are generally public in Minnesota when no temporary investigative hold applies. Medical data, mental-health data, housing risk details, juvenile records, safety-sensitive information, and some investigative material are not shown in the public roster reports.
No official statement was found saying exactly how many days a Wright County booking photo remains online after release. The supported rule is narrower: photos appear when included in the county's daily public PDFs, current custody is represented by the Jail Census, and recent bookings are represented by the Jail Media Report.
Request Wright County Booking Photos

The sheriff form also refers to digital photos at $25 per CD. Fees can depend on format, staff time, and whether the request is for the subject of the data.

Mugshots and Court Records
A mugshot belongs to the booking side of the arrest. The court record belongs to the filed case. After a Wright County arrest, prosecutors can file a complaint, amend counts, reduce charges, dismiss counts, or proceed in a way that differs from the original booking row. Removal and Expungement
Wright County research did not identify a special local mugshot-removal portal. The official route is the records route and, when the case qualifies, the court sealing or expungement route. Expungement is a legal process that can limit public access to eligible records. Wright County jail mugshots are local arrest records. State prison and federal custody systems work differently.
